ABSTRACT
Brenda Mallon
The Healing Dimension of Irish Celtic Dreamwork
The Celtic tradition is rooted in the world of nature and in respect for
creation. It focuses on solutions rather than problems and recognises
the soul in all things. This respect for the natural world also
encompasses the knowledge of the healing potential of diverse energies -
animal, vegetable and mineral.
In this workshop we will work on dreams using Celtic images, stories,
myths and the cycle of seasons, the Celtic blueprint of the year. We
will discover how dreams were used as part of the healing process and
explore how we too can learn from this most ancient of traditions and
recognise the cycles of our lives as told in our dream landscapes.
