Rev. Dr. Jeremy Taylor is
an artist, teacher, Unitarian Universalist minister and community
organizer. He is one of the original four founders of IASD, which
he served as president in 1994-95. He is the author of three
well-known books on dreams and dreamwork, which have been
translated into multiple foreign languages.
Abstract
All dreams reveal recurring,
"archetypal", patterns of meaning. At the same time, all dreams
have uniquely personal levels of meaning. Encouraging people to
focus attention on this range of archetypal-to-personal patterns
in their evolving understanding of both dreams and waking life,
while encouraging them to withdraw their previously unconscious
projections, is an effective strategy for promoting healing,
facilitating reconciliation, and nurturing creativity.
