Waymaking:
The Practical Power of Visioning with ROBERT MOSS
In San Francisco, Saturday-Sunday, October 25-26, 2008, October 25-26
As you navigate the demands of your daily life, do you sometimes feel at sea, off course with the desires of your soul? Would you like to claim the power of your imagination to bring your heart’s desires into reality? Are you willing to unlock all of your creative energy to give birth to something new and original, in whatever field is calling you?
In this entertaining, high-energy program, you’ll learn how to envision and fulfill your deepest desires by applying wisdom and techniques used by ancient Polynesian “wayfinders.” These navigators sailed thousands of miles across the Pacific without compasses or instruments of any kind, voyaging from Tahiti to settle the islands of Hawaii. How did they do it? Through Waymaking—a deeply creative form of dreaming that leads to clear visioning, keen observation of guiding signs, and the ability to hold your vision while it manifests in the physical world.
In this journey, you’ll learn new ways to envision your heart’s desire, embody that vision and stay on course to your chosen destination by using coincidence, dreams, and imagination as guideposts. If you can dream it, you can do it!
Workshop Hours: 10:00am to 5:00pm Saturday, 10:00am to 4:00pm Sunday

Dream Salon: Dreaming in Brazil with Claudia Ciesynski
Friday Oct. 3, 7 PM – 9 PM
In this dream salon, Claudia will be sharing some of the beliefs and roots of dreaming in her home culture of Brazil. Brazilian beliefs about dreaming are embedded in ancestry; with knowledge being passed on from one generation to the next. Within Brazilian culture, the experience of dreaming comes first and foremost within the context of family which often views dreaming as a message. This is a learning experience that Claudia refers to as "Soul Learning". For the few that have access to information, Freudian and Jungian theory are then taken into consideration, creating a new mix on dream interpretation that is uniquely Brazilian. Some of the areas emphasized in Brazilian dreaming are: dream events, precognitive dreams, revelation & healing. In addition to the family, Brazilian perceptions of dreaming are also heavily influenced by Shamanistic traditions.

Institute for Dream Studies
DreamSynergy™ Certification Program
Justina Lasley, M.A., Director

The Institute for Dream Studies (IDS) offers a certification program for work with dreams in private and clinical settings. It is designed for therapists, counselors, spiritual directors, clergy, health care workers, artists, teachers, as well as those seeking personal insight. This two-year certification program consists of 3 four-day weekend sessions per year in Charleston, South Carolina, and at-home studies. Attendance at the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) annual conference broadens the participants’ exposure to various specialists and areas of dreamwork.

Participants of IDS will analyze their dreams leading toward personal development and individuation. This is seen as the cornerstone of Dream Synergy™ Certification. During the first year, such subjects as the aspects of energy, emotions, and personal development will be investigated in depth. Students will read and reflect on various writings in the field of dreams and be encouraged to develop a particular area of interest. They will explore the process of organizing and leading dream groups by honoring the dream in a spiritual manner. Details of group work will be studied and participants will learn a variety of creative methods in dreamwork. Students will have access to Justina and her guidance and reflections throughout the program.
The new class starts September, 2009.
Enrollment is limited to 10 participants. Applications are reviewed and accepted as received.
One year program is also available.
