BOOK OF MIRRORS
The Mirror is without ego and without mind. Everything is revealed as it really is. There is no discriminating mind or self-consciousness on the part of the mirror. The mirror is always empty of itself and therefore able to receive the other. It does not evaluate, judge or act. If we are to see as the dream sees, we must first become mirrors. We must become no-thing so that we can receive some-thing. To enter the dreamtime requires a complete transformation of consciousness.

PERPETUAL LIGHT
In honor of Chanukah and the Winter Solstice
All the world’s problems stem from light being withheld…. Wherever we find light, we must rip away its casings, exposing it to all, letting it shine forth to the darkest ends of the earth. Especially the light you yourself hold.
Tzvi Freedman adapted from the writings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe

THE GIFT OF THE MAGI
In Honor of Christmas
The Three Magi were Zoroastrian Persian Priests who could interpret dreams! A star more brilliant than all others aroused their adoration as they were looking for a sign to guide them to the birth place of God incarnate. The Star of Bethlehem beamed with a brightness that illuminated the darkness with the light of divine grace.

I HAD THE CRAZIEST DREAM LAST NIGHT
Twelve Creative Explorations into the Genius of the Night Mind
Written & Illustrated by Victoria Rabinowe
Book Design by Sean Wells
Playful, artful, delightful, insightful… with black and white images that leap off the pages and goad us into wakeful explorations of the hidden landscapes of the dreaming mind. The author’s genius in merging artwork with terse but right-to-the point directions and questions is astounding and enormously productive in the hide-and-seek game of mining for dream meaning. A creative feast for the eyes and rich food for the mind, this book is a treat and a treasure!

Institute for Dream Studies
DreamSynergy™ Certification Program – 2009 Class
Justina Lasley, M.A., Director
The Institute for Dream Studies (IDS) offers a certification program for work with dreams in private and clinical settings. It is designed for therapists, counselors, spiritual directors, clergy, health care workers, artists, teachers, as well as those seeking personal insight. This two-year certification program consists of 3 four-day weekend sessions per year in Charleston, South Carolina, and at-home studies. Attendance at the International Association for the Study of Dreams (IASD) annual conference broadens the participants’ exposure to various specialists and areas of dreamwork.
Participants of IDS will analyze their dreams leading toward personal development and individuation. This is seen as the cornerstone of Dream Synergy™ Certification. During the first year, such subjects as the aspects of energy, emotions, and personal development will be investigated in depth. Students will read and reflect on various writings in the field of dreams and be encouraged to develop a particular area of interest. They will explore the process of organizing and leading dream groups by honoring the dream in a spiritual manner. Details of group work will be studied and participants will learn a variety of creative methods in dreamwork. Students will have access to Justina and her guidance and reflections throughout the program.
The new class starts September, 2009. Enrollment is limited to 10 participants. Applications are reviewed and accepted as received. One year program is also available.
