Hi, Elew, Jay and all!

So we are still working together on the water!

Yesterday I readin German newspaper about the resin they used with the reactors and had to think of you, Elew. Though the author thought it is of minimal use and meant to just appeal the public. Hmmm.

Thanks for sharing dreams, and yes, in ancient times Egypt hasn't been desert, but much greener, a savanna to say the least. The problem with watering the deserts is there is much salt in the fossil water below the desert. Much energy is needed to desalt the water. But then, there is much sun...

Japan "celebrates" the first month after the disastrous quake. Today there has been a M7.1 aftershock. Reactors 1,2, 3 offline from power. Need to dream and pray for connection!

Deep healing and peaceful dreams,

Ralf

Interesting connections again, Elew!

I have no dreams to share until now, I have been too busy for remembering and writing.

Hope to share Japan dreams sent to Rhine research center, later.

Healing dreams!

Riding Impossible Waves
19.04.2011, 3

I'm seeing someone riding giant ocean waves, like watching a movie on a screen, a hundred feet high, then I am this person. I go / I am taken through three different variations of riding the crest in incredible speed, then I'm shooting over, fear and excitement, and falling, falling, getting submerged. In a crystal clear blue-green warm water, it is extremely vitalizing and relaxing.

Nonetheless I say this can't be real, and people in the video studios shouldn't try to fool people into experiences! How can they try and make me believe these giant waves stop right before the shore and cause no damage? There is something like a (telepathic) discussion going on between me and the film makers, and their main point is saying: "why not go with a nice virtual experience, if it has so real effects on you?"

I awake half and think it may be time to get up and stop the alarm before it goes off and disturbs my spouse, but I'm too lazy and feel too well with this dreaming. So I go back and recall the "map dream" details, feeling its importance for the bridge, and wait for the alarm to go off.

General impressions

In a way I seem to ride the wave of something WAY bigger than me. Starting the thread on Japan dreaming in IASD bulletin board appeared like a wild ride to me at times, with an own dynamic taking me.

So I'm thankful for this ecstatic experience with water, while we dreamed and prayed for healing the waters of Japan, and for healing the people suffering with the tsunami.

There is also this side to water, refreshing, relaxing, and so powerful it is making me feel small.

On another point, even though our communication takes place in the virtual reality of an online forum, it has a real effect on me, and hopefully also a real effect on healing Japan.

This dream adresses the question how dreaming and waking phyiscal realities are linked. And the dream experience still reverberates and ripples now after hours, and it also made my day a joyful one.

Current concerns

The giant waves may relate to the tsunami which hit Japan.

Exercise

Among different topics Japan has been on my mind, but also simply having a joyful dream, a lucid dream at the best. Was close to lucidity in recognising the "made up" nature of this experience.

Conclusion

The virtual is part of reality, for sure!

hi elew,

which kind of energy is the good kind? seriously.

actually, i believe that the only solution is to limit the human population of the planet, but no one else even thinks about that.

hoping for the best,

Hi, Jay, TsunaH, Elew and all!

I think there is no easy way to live from regenerative energy alone. In Germany we often have discussions and quarrels like Elew mentions. Everybody wants to protect nature, but nobody wants a wind - plant blocking sight, causing noise or killing birds.

The way to get independent on nuclear power or fossil resources we can go. Some communities, villages, smaller cities are already independent in Germany and produce their energy with different means.
We can build houses needing less energy, put isolation on existing houses, use solar panels on rooftops. I think the latter is one of the most effective and sustainable ways. Then it comes to changes in lifestyle, like switching off standby mode in electronic devices. I mean, the solutions are there. There are even houses producing more energy than they consume!

And if you talk about needs we don't have, Elew, that is something to think about. While I'm not so optimistic about global energy consumption. Statistics say it is going to increase, and in this way Jay is right: There are just too many of us on this planet. And honestly I won't go to my neighbor and say: Please don't ride your car (I do it myself...). So how to forbid Chinese people developing a lifestyle and more and more of them having a car? This development in China alone is enough to increase the greenhouse effect, no matter how much we (in Germany) turn to regenerative sources.

I always think if we discover our inner energy, like it shows in our dreams, we get more independent of wasting outer energies. I really think a culture of dreaming is necessary part of a sustainable way of life. The solutions aren't only out there, they must be found inside.

Massima Schinco from Italy gives a free concert and collects funds for Misa's workshop for traumatized children in Japan. He says he's been inspired by our discussion and sharing dreams on our thread here, and that makes me happy!

If you can't attend the concert, maybe you want to donate anyway smile

Here is the facebook link to the concert event:

http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=158296930899466

And Elev:
Your compassion with animals reminds me of my youth. It seems over the years I developed a "thick skin". But as I said, you remind me... and I take a deep breath feeling it again.

Also I hope the resin is useful for Japan now!

Peaceful dreaming with the whales

so this is like what some people suggest.

that our thoughts alone, can control what is and what happens. hmm

Thank you, Elew, for the more detailed explanation of your dream experiences.

Or are all the experiences you just described dream experiences?

Anyhow, I find your experiences very interesting, even though I have never experienced anything beyond the most common sort of dream states.

Do you mind saying how old you are Elew? I am 67.

Hi, Elew, Jay and all!

First let me correct a typo: I wrote "Massima", while his name is "Massimo", sorry for that ;(

And then thanks for your deep sharing, Elew. Your dream makes clearer to me the role of our thoughts and emotions. They create at least part of our reality. In my reality you gave the child something worthy, for many of them are empowered by gaining control over their dreams (especially nightmares) and rehearse for physical waking, learning to be creative and brave in their lives.

Thanks also for telling apart lucid and "beyond" dreams. Many dream explorers experience your way. Only for me I can't recall one of these "beyond" dreams.

Joyful lucid dreams!

Hi, dreaming friends!

Here is how Misa Tsuruta, the dreamer conducting workshops for children (and adults) suffering with the aftereffects of earthquake in Japan, experienced the situation, and how her dreams played a role in creating the workshops:

That's nice, Elew smile

I spent much time in my garden, and all the onion flowers have already bloomed, we had six weeks without rain, and today it rained a little...

Situation in Japan seems to get out of public view, while there still are many problems. I've read a lot of radioactive water has been released to the sea. Haven't had dreams I see related to Japan for some time now. Still working on my lucid dreaming skills, though smile

My healing wishes are with the Japanese people. I heard there were anti - nuclear power protests there. Never heard that before from Japan. Seemingly changes are taking place.

In Germany we have the first Green "governor" (of one of the federal states/ subdivisions), surely a reaction to the happenings in Japan, and political discussion goes around HOW and WHEN to live without nuclear power (not WHETHER, like in the last years). So the Japan quake actually shakes the world.

How are the reactions in everybody's countries?

I think that the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant is less in the news, not because of a cover up, but because the worst outcomes have been avoided, and they are now gradually and steadily improving things there.

Here is a site that continues to track events there:

http://nei.cachefly.net/newsandevents/information-on-the-japanese-earthquake-and-reactors-in-that-region/japan-earthquake-additional-nei-updates/

and, of course, there are a lot of other competing big news stories currently.

I also still believe that properly operated nuclear power is one of the better choices, compared to all of the bad effects of fossil fuels, global warming, air pollution, environmental pollution, etc.

And I also believe that, as I mentioned previously, the most important factor is population control.

You're right Elew. Not much in the news anymore.

But I did see the report. Not too surprising.

In any event, not too many people exposed to high levels of radiation, I think.

I think that things could have turned out much worse, even still.

I'm glad the worst is over, and hope that the world's remaining nuclear plants will be made even safer.

We are really between a rock and a hard place, with an ever increasing world population wanting more and more energy. peek
