Hi Folks,
Just wanted to let you know that Lambert Academic Publishing released my new book, Dreams and Dream-like Experiences: Their role in spiritual emergence processes.
I created a new website for it at spiritualdreams.yolasite.com
I welcome any constructive feedback, as I plan to edit and update the site on that basis.
Thanks

This is a question about language and terminology.
What is the history of the expression: "Dream and Dream Like Experiences (DLEs)". I have seen it before in some publications but not too frequently. This may be the first time it is employed in a serious academic work.

I believe I am the first to use this terminology in a more than incidental way. Others have spoken of various components such as daydreams, visions, and imagery. The term DLEs is meant to be all-inclusive of these, with the recognition that each variant within it is specific, rich, and differentiated.
Thanks for opening up this part of the discussion! _________________ Darlene Viggiano, Ph.D. (MFT) |
