Hello All!
I have been lucid dreaming fairly consistently (1-2 times/week) for the past two years, but I'm curious to find out how often you all lucid dream? I would love to lucid dream every night if I could...it just takes so much effort for me. Any advice?
Currently I have been examining tornadoes in my dreams, they trigger lucidity every time (I have been dreaming about them since childhood). The other night I was brave enough to enter it, look up (saw a very bright light), and exit through the other side. Curious to see what will happen if I enter it and go toward the light. Anyone have an experience like this?
Cheers!

Hi Allura, weclome to the IASD Discussion Boards.
Congrats on the ability to Lucid dream and the regularity in which you are able to do so. Personally, I have only had a Lucid dream once or twice in my lifetime that I am aware of, and they have all been accidental. Meaning, I randomly just realized I was dreaming and went with it. I have had many occasions where I had a hint in the dream that I must be dreaming. Enough where I even said to myself, "That's not right. That shouldn't be like that." But I didn't flip that into a Lucid dream.
I have had a bright light in a dream before, but it was not associated with a Lucid dream or any tornadoes. Mine started as a pinprick, then took over my entire vision and was associated with a noise like the rise and pop of a bottle rocket.
I guess with yours, there's only one way to find out where that bright light in the center of the tornado goes. |

| Interesting...I have also had dreams where the light starts out as a pin prick (like a star in the sky), it starts to get larger and ultimately consumes me. I have become lucid when this happens, but it is so overwhelming I don't know what to do and typically just wake up. Wonder what it means... |

Allura,
Interesting about the tornado dreams resulting in lucid dreams. I have never heard of this before, especially as a regular thing. The tornado dreams do seem to come with a lot of energy, however. You may wish to read my post in this forum titled Simultaneous Multiple Dreams, which also involves a tornado changing the dream.
It would be nice to hear about your lucid experiences, if you want to share. |

I thought it was interesting that the tornado thing was in both your posts too. |

Allura,
Have you ever wished to ask any sort of questions directly of the subconscious/super ego in your lucid dreams? |
