I am not asking for an interpretation of these dreams. However, in addition to any symbolic meaning, I felt as though the dreams kept trying to show me an actual, tangible place. I got three views inside a home, and then a view of a topographical map. So I'm just wondering if, by any chance, anybody might recognize this location--I've got nothing to lose by putting it out there.
(Explaining--rather than separate dreams of the same night from before and after midnight, in my journal I just call everything after sunset the eve of the next day.)
Anyway, straight from my dream journal:

1-3. Flash Dreams During Matrix Relodad.
On Wednesday Eve, while trying to watch “Matrix Reloaded “ with my husband, I have three flash dreams that all feel like they happened in the same place, with a lucid element telling me to pay close attention to detail , to memorize upon awakening:
#1: I study a tablecloth, in a room of dark wood with bright sunlight streaming in. (I have a vague sense in the background of a place with an intriguing, artistic, elvish feel, though a human place.) The tablecloth is a broad woven check of wide strips of white and cobalt blue, with gold figurements weaving in and out here and there, depicting nothing that I recognize, if anything appearing like some sort of curving script or symbols.
#2 I look out a somewhat grimy window, double-framed in wood with deep sills. I concentrate mainly on the objects hanging in the window. One might be a prism. The central one clearly looks like a bud-vase with a long, clear-glass trumpet-shaped stem leading to a perfectly round red glass base. To the right I think there might be a blue suncatcher. It seems as though my eyes fixed solely on the center thing, the red one, and saw the other two blurrily to either side. I have a vague sense of a dew-pale green slope beyond the window. I feel like I look out through a scoop in a hill that folds around the house, earth-berming it. I sense dark wooden walls to either side of the view. Although the window could use a washing, I feel as though I stand in a reasonably clean place.
#3. I might look at the back of a couch or a chair, or even a cushion, in an off-white and off-black or dark brown pattern, tight, of crinkly horizontal lines, deeply textured. Beyond I sense the dark wooden walls.
Gift: A mystery.
4. The Topographica Map
(Probably after midnight and into Wednesday proper. ) I see a topographical-map of a coastline, somewhat rounded and smooth, in a C-curve slanted dexter. A canyon opens onto it, with a hill in front of the canyon. The canyon itself looks kind of jagged in its outlines. I wish powerfully that I could draw it in my sleep, because I know that I will not be able to memorize every line of it well enough to draw it when I wake.
Gift: Again, a mystery to solve. _________________ Life is beautiful and dangerous. Beware! Enjoy!--Dolores J. Nurss

Whups--there was more on the tape! (I record my dreams half asleep, then type them in a week or two, often surprised at what I find.)
5. Madame M
I see an email from a woman with a name that starts with an M, with more than one syllable.
Gift: Another clue. _________________ Life is beautiful and dangerous. Beware! Enjoy!--Dolores J. Nurss |

Well, I'm sorry to say that I don't recognize any of the locations. Hopefully somebody will. Thanks for posting it. |
