I wanted to comment on something about dreaming and the body. Starting with the dream I then comment on possible meaning for the body. Please reply when you read this... it helps me to make connections:

Last night I dreampt that I was sitting on an operating table with my naked lower body exposed. a machine driven syringe with a long needle was bearing down just to the left of my groin and toward my hip joint. the needle was rotating like a drill. I had been told that I would experience some pain in this proceedure. I watched as the needle pierced my skin and went ever deeper. I braced myself for the pain once the needle pierced the bone.

I did not experience pain in the dream. Awake in the AM, I reflected on the dream. My 1st association had to do with my upcomming consult on a dental implant I had put off for several years, but now planned to proceed with before I retire next year. My excuse for not going ahead originally was due to the recession and the high cost for the implant. But I feel it was also due to not wanting to experience further trauma. The extraction of the bad tooth was highly unpleasant and reminded me of all the traumatic dental work I had in my wonderbread-fed non-floride non- floss childhood. But why the groin area? At first it did not make sense. I remembered that I have had some concerns lately about bloody emissions during sex. I had consulted a doc about it but he dismissed it as a artifact of getting older, and there had not been any pain.

got to leave it off here for now. Hit me back smile
