Artist Statement

I have been working with dreams as source materials for my art work for many years. My current work is digitally based. I may use or borrow images from many places and piece them together in a computer. I find that this medium suits my dream imagery, borrowing from many sources and like the dream is pieced into some kind of narrative.

Then when the images are ready I print them using large format ink jet printers

My chair pieces relate back to a dream I had after my father died which included a chair.

“House with no glue” came from dreams I had while a very good friend was dying. He was central to a group of friends, he was the glue to this group.
