About Carol Schreier Rupprecht, Ph.D.

Carol Schreier Rupprecht is Professor of Comparative Literature at Hamilton College in New York where she has pioneered courses in dreaming and literature as well as in dream theory and translation theory. She edited The Dream and the Text: Essays in Language and Literature and co-edited Feminist Archetypal Theory: Interdisciplinary Revisions of Jungian Thought. She has authored numerous article, chapters, and encyclopedia entries in the humanities with emphasis on dreaming, translation, and medieval and Early Modern Literature including Dante and Shakespeare.
