Denyse Beaudet, Ph.D., is the author of Encountering the Monster: Pathways in Children's Dreams. Former professor of creativity and child development at Laval University in Quebec City, she now lives in San Diego. She conducts seminars on adult women's development through dreams and the symbolic life.

Kelly Bulkeley—I’m still grateful to him—contacted me after the publication of my first book Encountering the Monster: Pathways in Children's Dreams and invited me to join ASD. This was the beginning of a rewarding adventure with ASD, being a presenter at several annual conferences, contributing to the ASD Newsletter and to DreamTime and getting to know wonderfully creative people and inspiring dreamers. I still remember fondly my first conference in Santa Cruz and the many that followed.
