About Gillian Holloway

I've been a vivid dreamer my entire life and became fascinated with the connections between dreams and waking life in my teenage years. After reading Ann Faraday early on, I began keeping a dream journal, which of course opened up the recognition of recurring themes and the different layers dreams present. I had a chance to study a bit with Gayle Delaney while in the SF Bay area in graduate school, and enjoyed her interview approach tremendously. I now teach at Marylhurst University in the Pacific Northwest, and lead dream groups in the area. I've always felt my inner life was deeper and more compelling than the outer world; an introvert's preoccupation. Dreams continue to provide stability and a core of truth even when the outer world moves ever more quickly with increased complexity.

My notes on the IASD

I learned of IASD in the 90s because Stanley Krippner suggested I would enjoy the group. That was an understatement. I feel IASD is amazingly effective and generates great interest, activity, and builds global community in the field of dreams.
