About Lesley Zaret, MSW

In my psychotherapy practice I integrate dreamwork, spirituality and exploration of the existential questions to help people grow in consciousness and live with awareness and acceptance of life's pain and joy. I lead dream groups and teach introductory dream classes. My continuing study of "embodied imagination" with Robbie Bosnak and Jill Fischer is adding richness to my work with clients and my own dreams. Interest in my dreams began in adolescence and has been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

My favorite dream book is "Healing Dreams" by Marc Barasch. Also "Nocturnes: On Listening to Dreams" by Paul Lippman. My first long ago dream books were by Ann Faraday and they helped awaken this passion.

My notes on the IASD

I joined IASD after attending an intensive workshop "Embodied Dreamwork" in 2003 and learned there of IASD and the yearly conferences. I feel that it is an important mission of the organization to offer creative education and research that can help to deepen the awareness and skills of people who work with dreams. Also to support dream art!
I am the regional representative for New Hampshire and Maine.
