About Linda H. Mastrangelo, MA, LMFT

Linda Mastrangelo, MA LMFT is an educator, writer, artist and psychotherapist with a private practice in the San Francisco Bay specializing in dreams and grief. Through her own personal practices, she discovered the remarkable potential of dreams as well as the dream’s transformative possibilities as “good medicine.” In 2009, she created the Examiner’s first dream column and is a contributing writer for The Dream Tribe. Her articles and artwork have been included in The Lucid Dream Exchange, Dream Network Journal, All Things Healing and DreamTime Magazine and she is the Editor of Dream News. Linda has presented her award winning work internationally and facilitated trainings and workshops, including hospice and other healing institutions. Linda sits on the board of directors at the International Association for the Study of Dreams and is a member of CAMFT.

My notes on the IASD

I have been on a dreamer’s path since childhood, but it was my first IASD conference at Bridgewater where I found my tribe. Moved by the generosity of heart, soul and spirit of each member and the earnestness these gifts were given, my intention was to give back what IASD has given me: My life’s work and soul’s calling.

Over the years, my commitment to IASD has only deepened like promoting events and its members through community outreach. In 2009, The Examiner’s first dream column was born and this labor of love has grown into a resource for the Bay Area dreaming community. Other research has been published in LDE, DNJ and DreamTime magazine.

I have also volunteered on various committees, serving on its Board of Directors,as Editor of Dream News and CE Administrator. My work has been shown internationally including IASD annual & Psiberdreaming conferences highlighting dream activism; dreams of the bereaved based on my hospice counseling experience and lucid dreaming.

Through outreach, forming new collaboratives and increasing awareness of the dream in all its incarnations, healing and evolutionary possibilities, IASD has the potential to make profound shifts in the global community.
