About Mimi Pettibone
|
I love the interpretive process of working with dreams: connecting with the images, seeing how they relate to waking life, and making informed decisions and changes based on the insights they provide. I am especially interested in how we can use this information to discover our life purpose, and how they can help us find, create and keep good relationships.
I have been studying dreams on my own for 20 years, and have also conducted a private certification program through Lifetreks Center for the Study of Dreams. My background includes training and certifications in Hypnotherapy, NLP, Voice Dialogue, Shadow work, and Focusing. I love any modality that works with the unconscious, and enjoy enhancing dream work with these.
I hold dream groups, workshops and events in Seattle, Washington, and enjoy using many different techniques including Montague Ullman's dream group approach, Gail Delaney's Dream Interview Method, Gestalt, Drawing from Dreams and others. I have a background in the media and enjoy doing media interviews, presentations and workshops. I feel incredibly passionate about spreading the word regarding the benefits of dream work.

My notes on the IASD
|
I became aware of the IASD about with my first exposure to dream work at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington.
This organization is invaluable to the dreaming community, both as a resource for information and education, as well as providing a professional community and connection with others.
