I am American but have spent most of my adult life in Japan and the UK. Although I live in the United States now, I continue to travel between these different cultures in my art and dreams.

In 2006 I completed my masters degree in Human Development, where I focused on the role imagery in dreams and the arts play in healing, personal growth and spiritual development throughout the life span.

One of my favorite dreams seemed like a very ordinary dream until I looked down and saw that I had lion's paws instead of hands! That gave me a whole new way of looking at myself and how I was getting along in the world at that time. Through my lion's paws I found new possibilities to get through a very difficult time in my life that I had not been able to imagine previously.

I have many favorites books but I think my all time favorite is Robert Bosnak's A Little Course in Dreams.

I found out about ASD through the numerous books on dreams I was reading while I was in Japan. I was eager to connect with a group of people as interested in dreaming as I am. I feel the most important thing about ASD is Diversity! That has been the richest part of being a member of ASD for me. I love interacting with so many different kinds of people who all share a passion for dreams. I am the regional contact in Minnesota for ASD.
