About Suzanne Saldarini, LPC, NCPsyA

My all-time favorite dream book is Freud's The Interpretation of Dreams. I love it because it not only explains our dreaming thoughts, but also the workings of our minds awake. The language, the metaphors, the arguments and the over-all richness of the writing are a wonderful challenge - one can return again and again, and, like a dream, find still more meaning. My "obsession" with the book, spurred by teaching analytic candidates, resulted in my own condensation (unpublished) of each chapter - papers I'd be happy to share with interested IASD members.

My notes on the IASD

I found IASD on-line and was happy to join. With IASD I've found conferences, publications and contacts which speak directly to my interests. I believe diversity in membership, in presentations of research and clinical as well as creative content are all vital functions - I know of no other organization that is both so focused and so diverse.
