About Dr. T.J. Wray
I'm an Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Salve Regina University in Newport, RI. My area of expertise is Biblical Studies (lots of wonderful dreams in the Bible!).
I became interested in "grief dreams" following the death of my only brother in 1997. In the course of writing my book, "Suviving the Death of a Sibling," I noted the healing effect "grief dreams" had on the mourner. I also discerned four distinct types of grief dreams (visitation, message, reassurance, and trauma dreams) and it was this inital discovery that led to the creation of a web site dedicted to grief dreams: www.griefdreams.com and the publication of "Grief Dreams: How They Help Heal Us After the Death of a Loved One" written in conjunction with fellow ASD member, Ann Back Price.
I facilitate an adult sibling grief peer support group in Providence, RI.
