About Veronica Tonay, Ph.D.

Veronica Tonay, Ph.D., author of Every Dream Interpreted (Collins-Brown, 2003), and The Creative Dreamer: Using Your Dreams to Unlock Your Creativity and accompanying Journal and Workbook (Celestial Arts, 1995, 1997), received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley. She has been researching dreams, creativity and personality since 1982, and her work has been presented at academic conferences as well as covered by radio and other media, including abcnews.com, CBS' Bay Sunday, NPR, Reader's Digest, the Chicago Tribune, and the New York Post. She is a licensed psychologist with a psychotherapy practice in Santa Cruz. Since 1989, she has taught undergraduate psychology courses at the University of California.

Dr. Tonay is a former board member of the ASD. She hosted the ASD 1999 California Dreaming conference and the 2001 Dream Odyssey Conference at UCSC.
